Mariachi Alma del pueblo is a high school mariachi group in San Antonio, Texas. It was formed about 3 1/2 years ago. It is not funded by our school nor by our school district. It functions as a club activity. Money received from our performances is deposited into our club account for group expenses such as outfits for the group, instruments, music, etc. All mariachi instruments are represented. Ages range from 14-17 years of age.
