 Group
Profile:
Mariachi Espadas de Oro is an independent group made up of sixteen
talented young musicians from the South El Monte area. Their ages range
between nine to fifteen years of age. They have been performing together
for two years and have had the opportunity to participate in many venues
throughout the Los Angeles area.
Some of their most recent achievements have been the following:
*Performance at the 2002 Fiesta Broadway (Nationally Televised)
*Junior Division Winners in the 2002 McMariachi Festival del
Mariachi.
*First mariachi to be selected to perform at Community Arts Showcase at
Disneyland Park.
