The 2005 Mariachi San Jose youth ensemble welcomes you! We are proud to embrace and preserve our heritage and cultural traditions through the music and dance that is mariachi.

The 2005 ensemble is composed of four young men and five women between the ages of 15-22. They are very accomplished musicians who have performed on-stage with adult mariachi groups at various concerts. In the past four years, Mariachi San Jose has won numerous awards including first place at the New Mexico Mariachi Spectacular Youth Mariachi Competition-2001, and Los Banos May Fair Youth Competition for three consecutive years, 2002-2004. They were also invited and performed at Knotts Berry Farms in Buena Vista. They have released their first CD entitled "Mariachi San Jose".
